ALLEY WAY/ LANE GATES
Lane gates will not be installed
Despite local residents, councillors and council officers spending a great deal of time on this issue, residents have been informed that the lanes are too narrow for lane gates. Posted 7th May 2014 Cardiff Council have recently announced that the lanes do not qualify for lane gates and have written to adjacent properties to inform them: Recorded crime did not meet the criteria for installing the gates. It is vital that all crime and anti social behaviour is reported to the police, so records are accurate. Posted 24th Sept 2011 More information
The talk by council officers David Jaques and Kelly Jacker was very helpful and well received. The process was explained to residents.
