Cow and Snuffers
Planning application to go before planning committee
Tim Walters, the planning officer dealing with the Cow and Snuffers tells us that
NB The pub would have been celebrating it's bicentenary next year! Such a shame it's going.
Planning application submitted
A planning application has been submitted to Cardiff Council for conversion to 7 flats. See our planning page for more details.
If you have any concerns or views, please let us know, and on request we can organise a petition and lobby our Councillors, perhaps to ensure the application is properly scrutinised via the planning committee.

Tim Walters, the planning officer dealing with the Cow and Snuffers tells us that
- the application will be going before planning committee, at the request of Cllr Rowland james
- The building is locally listed (note not grade listed), as it has local merit (why isn't the school?)
- The frontage will be kept (though not necessarily the sign)
NB The pub would have been celebrating it's bicentenary next year! Such a shame it's going.

Recent spate of burglaries
We have received reports of recent shed/garage/ house burglaries in and around the Llandaff North village and Ty Mawr Rd, Whitchurch. Residents are interested in having lanes gated (subject to consultation).
If you have been affected or have a view please come along to the next PACT meeting (7pm 12th May, Colwill Rd Community centre) where police, councillors and council officers will be on hand to discuss matters further.
If residents support it, we can also look at setting up a Neighbourhood Watch scheme in the village. So please come along and get involved!
